Product Information
Do suits come as a full set or separate pieces?
It depends on the style. Some suits are sold as a jacket and pants set, while others are sold as separates so you can mix sizes to get the best fit. Be sure to double check the description and product information.
What’s the difference between a suit and a tuxedo?
A suit is more versatile — it can be dressed up or down depending on the event. A tuxedo is for black-tie or formal evening events and has details like satin lapels and stripes on the pants.
What’s the difference between a sport coat and a blazer?
A sport coat is more casual and versatile, often made in patterns or textured fabrics. A blazer is a step dressier—usually solid in color with polished or metal buttons—perfect for occasions that call for a sharper, more classic look.
I can't find my size, can you order one for me?
If you don’t see your size in stock, don’t worry—it might still be available! The item could be on its way, or we may be able to source one for you. Just reach out to us or fill out the form below, and let us know the item you’re looking for. Be sure to include the size, color, and item number or SKU.
Sizing, Fit, and Care
How do I find out my measurements?
We’ve put together a full step-by-step measuring guide you can follow here.
The basics? Three measurements usually point us to the right fit:
- Height: Head to toe, standing tall (no shoes).
- Weight: Best taken in light clothing for accuracy.
- Waist: At the natural waistline—not over pants.
Once you know your measurements, our Size Guide can help you pick the right size.

What's the difference between slim, skinny, husky, modern, classic, and portly fits?
Not every body fits “off the rack.” That’s why many suits come in slim, regular, and husky/portly fits. Slim fits are great for tall, lean builds, while husky cuts give extra room where it’s needed. If you’re not sure which way to go, measurements make it much easier to find the right option.
Slim/Skinny Fit: While not necessarily interchangeable, both feature closer cuts which are stylish for tall and lean builds.
Modern Fit: A balanced cut with a bit more room, still tailored.
Classic Fit: Traditional silhouette, more relaxed.
Husky/Portly Fit: Tailored specifically for those who need extra room through the midsection without oversizing the shoulders and length. Helps ensure the jacket closes comfortably without pulling and maintains a clean, polished look.
What's the difference between short, regular, or long?
Short (S): 5’4” to 5’7” (162–170 cm)
Regular (R): 5’7” to 5’11” (170–180 cm)
Long (L): 5’11” to 6’3” (170–191 cm)
How should a suit fit?
A good fit means:
- The jacket shoulders align with your natural shoulders.
- The sleeves end just above the wrist bone (so about ¼"–½" of shirt cuff shows).
- Pants break slightly at the shoe — not too long, not too short.
How do I know what jacket and pant size to choose?
Start with a quick chest, waist, and height measurement.
Boys’ suits usually have a 2-inch drop — meaning if the jacket is a size 12, the pants are typically a size 10 in the waist. If you’re between sizes, it’s always safer to size up. Many pants come with adjustable waistbands, so it’s easy to tighten them, and hems can be shortened if needed.
Men’s suits are usually sized by chest measurement (in inches) and paired with pants that have about a 6-inch drop. For example, a size 40R jacket typically comes with size 34 pants. Portly cuts feature a 2-inch drop from the jacket to the pants for more balanced proportions. To be sure, measure the chest (under the arms at the widest point), natural waist, and height.
For a great fit, see our Measuring Guide first, then let our Size Guide show you the right size.
How do I know what belt, tie, or pocket square size to choose?
Most of our accessories are made in standard sizes, so it’s simpler than you might think:
Belts:
Choose one size larger than your waist or pants size. For example if you are a size 8 (24" waist) or a size 10 (25" waist) you purchase a size 26 belt.
Ties:
Our ties come in various lengths generally from 50" to 64". A 50" tie is best for younger boys or those under 5’ tall, while taller boys and teens usually wear 52"–54". Taller teens and most men wear 58" ties, while 64" ties are best for taller men who need extra length. If you’re unsure, size up—ties can always be trimmed or tucked for a perfect look.
Bow Ties:
We offer pre-tied and self-tie bow ties that come in widths from 1.25" to 3.75". Narrower bow ties (1.25"–1.5") are perfect for younger boys or a subtle look, medium widths (1.75"–2.25") suit older boys and teens, and wider bow ties (2.5"–3") are ideal for taller teens and men or those going for a bolder statement. If you’re unsure which size will work best, we’re always happy to help you find the right fit for the occasion.
Pocket Squares:
While we carry a few sizes, one size generally fits all—just fold and style it to your preference. Smaller pocket squares (11" x 11") work well for younger boys with smaller pockets, while larger squares (16" x 16") are suitable for older boys, teens, and men.
If you’re still unsure, we’re always happy to guide you toward the right pick.
How do I care for my new formalwear?
Most suits are dry clean only and should be done occasionally (not after every wear) to keep them looking sharp, but many shirts and accessories are machine washable for convenience.
Always check the care label. Hang it on a good hanger, give it a day to rest between wears, and steam out wrinkles instead of ironing.
