It is that time of year again! As you get ready for your son's special day, you should keep a couple of things in mind. A number of First Holy Communions take place in March, April and even May. Believe it or not, this means that there is a TON of time for your boy to do some last minute growing. It is probably a good idea to shop early for your special guy's communion suit, but then wait to get it altered. If the suit fits reasonably well, it should only take some basic adjusting in most cases. This means it should only take your tailor a week or so to get it fitted properly.
Another factor to consider is the date for the picture session if and when you decide you want have pictures taken prior to the Communion. Many times, people make the mistake of setting up a picture date WAY TO EARLY! Try and push the date of the picture session as close to the Communion as possible while still allowing the photography company to have your package ready in time for the event. Since the clothing will most likely need at least some basic alterations for the picture session, you don't want to much time in between the altering and the actual Communion.
When you're ready to shop, we've got you covered! Head over to our Communion section and you can find everything you need for his outfit. Suit, vest, dress shirts, tie, pocket square, shoes, belt, socks...All white! We've got it all!
All of this is predicated on the notion that you are doing all white for a Communion, which we realize is not always the case. If you need a Navy suit or Blazer and pants for his Communion, we obviously have you covered as well ;)
