Our Promise
We promise to make every effort to ship the same day all orders which are placed before 4PM Eastern Time (Monday thru Friday). Orders placed on either Saturday or Sunday will ship Monday. Certain holidays can add one day.
Charges
We normally ship via UPS. Shipping charges are actual UPS charges based on value, weight and time. Expedited UPS shipping is calculated on dimensional weight (size of the box). On all orders of a suit or sport coat we use a large box (36”x20”x4”). All of our garments are of the highest quality and we choose to ship in a large box to insure they will not arrive wrinkled.
Expedited shipping charges have become quite expensive with all of the major carriers. We have found the Postal Service has probably the most reasonable rates particularly for expedited services. However there are drawbacks to the Postal Service. We have found that Postal Service will deliver quickly (often quicker than UPS) but there are no guaranteed delivery times using Priority Mail. Express Mail is guaranteed (usually next day to most locations). But with all Postal Service insured packages they require a signature for delivery unlike UPS which will leave the package without a signature at most locations.
Since we ship same day expedited shipping may not be necessary. See the map below for UPS ground delivery times. Please remember these are business days in transit. Also please allow an extra day for certain holidays if they fall in the transit window. |
